WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Our three-day / 2-night costs £195 per child and this is fully inclusive. This means that all the activities, food and snacks, and camp equipment are covered in the price. Please have a look at the Kit List to see what equipment your child needs to bring.
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNT OFFERS AVAILABLE?
Please Contact Us if you would like to discuss getting a discount. We want to get as many children as possible outside this summer enjoying our camps and we are willing to listen if you feel a group or sibling discount would help.
CAN MY CHILD COME TO CAMP ON THEIR OWN?
Absolutely. One of the most rewarding things from our point of view is watching children make new friends and grow in confidence. It is our job to ensure everyone settles in really well, and we go the extra mile to support children who arrive not knowing anyone else.
MY CHILD IS OUTSIDE THE AGE BRACKET. CAN HE/SHE COME ON THE CAMP?
We are generally very flexible about our age ranges as all our activities are enjoyed by children across the board. At the same time, we are keen to ensure that children who come on the camp will really enjoy the experience and do ask you to bear in mind that our camps are residential. Therefore, please Get in Touch before booking if you have any concerns.
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO HAVE DONE ACTIVITIES LIKE THESE BEFORE?
It makes little difference whether or not children are experienced campers. We strive to make every child comfortable and give full debriefs before any of our camping activities and adventure games.
HOW MANY INSTRUCTORS WILL BE ON THE CAMP WITH THE CHILDREN?
All of our camps have at least 1 instructor for every 6 children.

Yes, every member of our staff has had an Enhanced DBS check.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOUR INSTRUCTORS HAVE?
Our instructors have a range of qualifications and experience working with children. For specialised activities, the instructor leading the session will have the relevant qualifications and experience. The camp leader is qualified in first aid. Take a look at our Instructors page for more information.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORT TO/FROM THE CAMP?
We unfortunately cannot offer transport to/from the camp. If you envisage any problems, please Get in Touch and we will see what we can do to help.
WILL THERE BE AN INSTRUCTOR ON DUTY AT NIGHT?
Yes, all of our instructors sleep centrally in tents as well, and there will be a male and female instructor on duty every night. The children are informed who those instructors are, and where they will be each evening.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
All of our camps have indoor areas where activities can take place, although the majority of the time, all activities continue whatever the weather. There is also an indoor sleeping area available if needs be.
HOW IS SAFETY ENSURED AT CAMP?
Your child's safety is extremely important to us. Therefore all our activities are fully risk assessed and delivered by qualified instructors. We have comprehensive first aid kits and the camp leader is fully first aid trained. Our ratio of 1 instructor to every 6 children ensures that staff are always available and we have a male and female instructor on duty every night. We also have comprehensive insurance and meet all government safety standards. If you have any further questions regarding your child's safety, please do not hesitate to Get in Touch.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING ON CAMP?
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOES NOT SETTLE AT CAMP?
It’s very rare for children not to settle at camp but if your child is unhappy for any reason not resolved, the Camp Leader will contact you directly.
WHERE DO THE CHILDREN SLEEP?
The children will sleep in tents in pairs or in threes and there will be separate areas for boys and girls. Both a male and female duty instructor will be sleeping in the centre of the camp should any child need them at night.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO THE CHILDREN EAT?
We know that camp food is incredibly important, especially with such action-packed and energy-consuming days. Meals are therefore plentiful and there is always fresh fruit available. At breakfast, we offer plenty of toast, cereals, fresh fruit, and (most importantly) bacon. Children will have snacks throughout the day and for lunch we will provide delicious sandwiches and wraps with loads of different fillings to choose from. In the evening, we will either have a BBQ or cook over the camp fire.
DO YOU CATER FOR SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

MY CHILD HAS A MEDICAL CONDITION. WHO SHOULD I TELL?

Every member of the team will be made aware of the condition and you will have the chance to discuss it with us in more detail at drop-off if you wish. Medical conditions will be dealt with completely confidentially. Please Get in Touch if you have any concerns.
WILL CHILDREN GET MUCH FREE TIME ON THE CAMPS?
Our camps are very busy and full-on but there is of course down-time throughout the days. We aim to strike the right balance between planned activities and letting the children relax and have their own fun.
